NEW OVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wohoo! New Oven and Rangehood has arrived and the plumber is here to install it. Why? Because it is G A S. It is not that exciting a model but it is brand spanking new!

So I am really sorry to say this Jo but I think cookies just managed to win, but only by 1 vote. But I will make the Baklava second (after dinner cooking etc) ok?

I think I am going to make one of the recipes that was sent for me to use with the butterscotch morsels(Thanks nic), which I have been dying to use! YAY! YAY! YAY!

OK, I say go with the oatmeal! DEFINATELY something with butterscotch chips... Maybe you could do the magic bars with oatmeal? What about nuts? Coconut? Crispy rice cereal? Maybe peanuts? HEY! I KNOW!!! Whatever the main cookie components are must ALSO be used in your baklava!!! Make them coordinate!!! hmmmm... cookies... baklava... ::wanders away lost in thought::

OK, so I have a lovely Pavlova mix in a nifty plastic egg. What is it supposed to be like when ready to eat?

I have never had one from a plastic egg but a pavlova made from egg whites has a crusty exterior with a marshamallow egg interior.
