More Aussie biscuits

So what are these biscuits, sorry cookies? Well, that is what I asked myself when I saw them in the Supermarket. Well, they are Tiramusu flavoured cream cookies, and they are pretty good actually. I of course only purchased them so that I could tell you my dear readers if they are any good or not ;).

We had our cup of tea, we ate our cookie and then we both said "Hey these aren't half bad". So I pick up the packet turn it over to look at the nutritional information. 7 gms of fat per 2 cookies!!!! Why oh why oh why Mr Arnott? Surely you can make your new cookies more nutritionally sound. Oh well... I guess I wont be buying these again, unless I think another taste test is in order. HA!

Hi Clare,

Well you know you could eat one cookie at day, like I did. =)

Hi Kirk LOL
See the thing is that in OZ we would call these biscuits, a cookie is like a chocolate chip cookie.. hmm I don't know where that fine line is though? Anyone??

OBViously, you folks got topsy turvy being down under... See, here in the US we don't have ANY confusion about the difference betwixt a biscuit, a cracker, and a cookie! ::starts to walk away with a haughty air:: ::catches a glimpse of a rotten tomato in Clare's hand:: ::RUNS AWAY SHREIKING::

Hey Jo! SPLAT *damm I missed* :P hehehehe

see we don't have any confusion here either... it is just trying to explain it to you crazy guys :P ehehee Because we call your kind of biscuits scones. and we have crackers like you but we have two classifications for cookie/biscuit

All kidding aside, it really is rather fascinating how different it is. Now I have a question for you regarding the word "scone". How is it pronounced there? My step-Mom is very fussy about this and claims that the way Americans typically pronounce it is incorrect. She has Scots blood from a GrandMother and I am very careful to honor her by pronouncing it "her way". So, what is your way? I would adore some input on this...
